Ken Wieber has been in practice for over 20 years. He began working for Altieri as an intern, was made Principal in 2011, and leads one of Altieri’s five design studios. Ken has considerable expertise in the design of specialty mechanical systems serving highly controlled, architecturally challenging museum, performing arts, and higher education programs such as Glenstone Museum, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Pendleton West at Wellesley College. His expertise in sustainable systems design is evident in all of his projects, including David Zwirner Gallery, the first LEED®-certified commercial gallery in the U.S., and Glenstone Museum which achieved two LEED® Gold and one LEED® Platinum certification. His portfolio also includes systems designs for significant historic buildings including Folger Shakespeare Library and the Museum of the City of New York. 

Ken brings expansive creativity to his projects, along with a highly collaborative approach. His management style emphasizes open communication and a shared goal of achieving the architect’s and client’s vision.
